Breastfeeding Classes to Support Mothers and Partners

In this class, we'll explore the benefits of breastfeeding, discuss strategies for success, and navigate any changes that come your way. Partners will learn how to best support the breastfeeding person so she can continue to nourish their child.

• The amazing ways your body prepares for breastfeeding
• The importance of breastfeeding right after birth and how to achieve this
• Ways to increase your chances of successfully breastfeeding your baby for however long you choose

Becoming Parents and Caring For Your Infant

In this workshop, we will look carefully at what becoming new parents entails for you: Emotional changes, Physical changes, Partner changes, and Work changes. Central in this discussion is the acknowledgement that there are no perfect parents, but rather thoughtful and caring parents who do the very best they can. In the Baby Care portion of class, we will prepare both parents for the arrival of their baby and what you can expect when you bring your newborn home.
